Hello loves,
I haven't been posting for awhile because I've just been so swamped with stuff.
First, work. Thank goodness the school holidays are here! Before anyone says that I'm so lucky to be getting a whole week off because I'm a teacher, let me tell you that I'm still going to be at work from Monday to Wednesday to get meetings, admin and various other projects out of the way that we would not be able to do on normal school days when the students are around. Officially, I'm only on protected time (aka the school is not allowed to ask me to do work during this time) from Thursday to Sunday of next week.
Next, kids. My son (7 months old now) is crawling everywhere! And that means he's getting his grubby little hands on everything. He loves following his big sister around the house in what seems to be hero worship in the early stages. Irritates her sometimes to no end, but most of the time they get along pretty well! I'm still not getting more than about 2 hours sleep at any one stretch, which is leaving me with huge sandbags under my eyes but I keep telling myself that this will be over in a couple of months.
Brother's wedding! Things were quite busy. I wasn't that involved in the actual preparation. I was rushing around to get my stuff done so that I could pick up my son from mum to free her up for the wedding prep! On the wedding banquet day itself, I was busy helping my mum with hosting the guests.
So that's what I have been up to the last couple of weeks since I last posted. I've been so busy that I haven't even really been on Twitter either! Will be back soon, after the weekend. Seeya then!
